Donated services under the Department of Health's Volunteer Programs are covered by state sponsored sovereign immunity protection.

- All prospective volunteers are asked to fill out a Volunteer Interest/Inquiry form (PDF 28kb) and a Volunteer Services Application (PDF 28kb). Please fax it to: Volunteer Coordinator, at Office of Human Resources, 407-858-5515. Once the application is received, you will be called for an interview to discuss volunteer opportunities and ensure proper placement.
- Background screening is required for volunteers who are placed in areas which have access to confidential information or who have direct contact with clients.
- All volunteers are required to attend a volunteer orientation, and training if needed.
- The fingerprinting hours for volunteers and interns are Mondays and Tuesdays by appointment from 1:00pm-4:30pm. Call (407) 858-1400 x 1123.
